Just because I didn't hear anything really exciting last year doesn't mean nothing exciting happened. It just means I wasn't listening in the right places.
After wandering off my track I stumbled upon something that sounds like a cross between The Editors, Glasvegas and U2 anno 1984 (Unforgettable Fire) packaged in a multilayered soundscape that also brings Daniel Lanois' production to mind.
